This video is relevant to the past, present and future. If Orwell wrote in the year 2010, maybe this is what he would project into a visual piece.
I LOVE M.I.A. I just have nothing bad to say about her. In fact I wrote a 15 page paper on her in my undergrad. She is super radical. I wonder if linking her video on your blog is the reason that when I enter the blog it warns me that there might be content not suitable for people under 18 or something like that? If so, that's awesome. Go M.I.A., always getting censored, denied visas, and getting called a terrorist. Yep. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteJust realized I didn't actually comment on the video. I really liked it; pretty simple idea but very beautifully executed. And like M.I.A.'s music, unapologetically violent.
